Susan laughs, she sings, she rides, she swings. She gets angry, she gets sad, she is good, she is bad. In fact, Susan is no different from any other child. It is not until we turn the last page that the reader realizes that Susan is in a wheelchair - a revelation that is thought provoking and paves the way for discussion about this important issue.
