Edwina is a fabulously funny book.
Edwina doesn't know she is extinct, she is too busy baking cookies.
Reginald Von Hoobie Doobie DOES know that Edwina should be extinct and tries to convince his classmates and the town folks. They all, however, love Edwina and pay no attention to him.
So then, Reginald Von Hoobie Doobie (don't you just love that name?) has a talk with Edwina herself.
He is very convincing, Edwina is shocked that she is extinct.
But she just doesn't care.....and goes back to baking cookies.
I love the easy way that the author has of dealing with a bullying issue.
